This morning, Russia fired 23 cruise missiles at Ukraine, 21 of them were destroyed by Ukrainian troops.

The missiles were fired from Tu-95 strategic aircraft from the Caspian Sea area, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyy said on Telegram.

"The anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force of Ukraine, in cooperation with the air defence units of other components of the Defence Forces, destroyed 21 out of 23 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles, as well as two operational and tactical UAVs. The targets were destroyed in the areas of responsibility of the Air Command Centre, the Air Command East and the Air Command South. Together - to victory!" he said.

Two Russian missiles hit Uman, damaging a residential high-rise building and warehouses. According to preliminary reports, three people were killed and eight more civilians were injured.

Eleven missiles and two drones were shot down over Kyiv. Debris damaged a road and a power line in Kyiv's Obolon district. No-one was injured.

The previous combined massive attack with missiles and drones took place on 9 March. Then the Russians launched 81 missiles and eight UAVs.
