Russian forces are conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Maryinka sectors. Over the course of the day, they carried out more than 35 attacks, all of which were repelled by the Ukrainian Defence Forces, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.
Bakhmut and Maryinka remain at the epicentre of hostilities.
Russian troops carried out 25 air strikes and fired more than 20 times from multiple launch rocket systems over the day.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Defence Forces aviation carried out four strikes on Russian clusters and one strike on a Russian anti-aircraft missile system. Five Russian UAVs of various types were shot down.
Missile and artillery units struck two command posts, an area where Russian manpower was concentrated, an air defence facility, an ammunition depot and two artillery units.
