Heavy fighting continues for the town of Bakhmut. During the day, Russian forces conducted unsuccessful offensives in the direction of the settlements of Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Ivanivske, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported.
Ukrainian defenders also repelled numerous Russian attacks in the vicinity of Maryinka.
During the day, Russia launched three missile and 31 air strikes and made about 26 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems.
The Russians are focusing their main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Maryinka areas, where 43 of its attacks were repelled there over the past day.
Meanwhile, the Defence Forces' aviation conducted 11 strikes on the areas where Russian troops and military equipment were clustered over the last day. They also shot down a Russian reconnaissance UAV of the Supercam type.
