Russian troops continue to shell Kherson Region. As a result of another artillery shelling on 26 April, a local resident was killed and a foreign journalist was wounded, the kherson regional military administration has said.
A 26-year-old man was injured in an artillery strike on Stanislav. Russians also shelled the Antonivskyy Bridge area in Kherson, injuring a foreign journalist and killing a Ukrainian.
The Kherson regional prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the deadly Russian attack.
"On 26 April, Russian troops shelled the Antonivskyy Bridge area near Kherson. As a result, a civilian man was killed. A correspondent of a foreign media outlet also sustained a gunshot wound to the shoulder. He was working on a story about life in the city, which had been under occupation for a long time and is now subject to systematic shelling. He was taken to hospital," it added.
Over the past day, Russia fired 75 times at Kherson Region, firing 389 shells from heavy artillery, UAVs and aircraft.
