Over the day, Russia fired 16 Kh-101/Kh-555 air-launched cruise missiles and four Iranian Shahed strike UAVs at critical infrastructure facilities in Kharkiv Region and residential buildings in Kryvyy Rih, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in its evening update.
Air defence forces and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 11 cruise missiles and one attack drone.
The Russians also carried out 29 air strikes and fired about 20 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements.
Meanwhile, the aircraft of the Defence Forces carried out 11 strikes on Russian personnel clusters and three on anti-aircraft missile systems. Missile and artillery units hit a command post, three clusters of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment, an ammunition depot, an anti-aircraft missile system, an artillery unit at a firing position, an air defence facility and an enemy electronic warfare station.
The Russians are focusing their main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Maryinka directions, and heavy fighting continues. There were 22 combat engagements over the last day.
