As of Monday, 12 June, the water level in Kherson Region has dropped by 21 cm to 3.6 m, Olha Malyarchuk, deputy head of the Kherson regional military administration, has said.
According to her, the flood level is decreasing by 2-4 cm every hour.
On the afternoon of 11 June, the area of Kherson Region flooded by the Russians' blowing up of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station almost halved from 139 to 77.78 sq km. The flood level was 4.07 m. On Saturday, 10 June, water receded from three villages in Beryslav District - Mykolayivka, Lvove and Olhivka.
