Last night, the Russian occupiers launched another missile and air strike on Ukraine, using eight missiles, including four Iskander ground-launched cruise missiles, and 35 Iranian Shahed strike UAVs against military facilities and critical infrastructure, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.
Ukraine's air defences destroyed two cruise missiles and 20 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs.
Additionally, Russia carried out 66 air strikes and fired 39 times from multiple launch rocket systems, killing and wounding civilians, and damaging private houses, other civilian and administrative infrastructure.
The likelihood of missile and air strikes throughout Ukraine remains very high.
Russia is focusing its main efforts on attempts to fully occupy Luhansk and Donetsk regions. There were 28 combat engagements there over the day.
Ukrainian aviation carried out 15 strikes on Russian personnel clusters and two strikes on anti-aircraft missile systems.
Missile and artillery units struck two command posts, five clusters of manpower, weapons and military equipment, one artillery unit at a firing position and four other important targets over the day.
