Russians continue to focus their main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdyiivka and Maryinka sectors, where heavy fighting continues. There were 39 combat engagements over the day, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has said.
The occupiers carried out 32 air strikes and fired about 40 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and localities.
The aviation of the Ukrainian Defence Forces carried out 15 strikes on Russian personnel clusters over the day. Missile and artillery units struck three command posts, six areas where enemy personnel and military equipment were concentrated, two ammunition depots, a fuel and lubricants depot, 14 artillery units at firing positions, three air defence facilities and two other important invaders' targets.
At around 02.00 on 19 June, Russian forces fired four Kalibr missiles at Odesa Region. All of them were shot down by air defence forces. Also at night, the Rusians attacked Dnipro Region with drones, probably Shahed-136 and Orlan 10. All enemy drones were shot down by air defence forces.
Deputy Minister of Defence Hanna Malyar said that Russia had reinforced its forces and was actively attacking in the Lyman and Kupyansk sectors. Heavy fighting continues there.
