Kyiv and Zagreb have reached an agreement under which Ukraine will be able to use Croatian ports on the Danube and in the Adriatic Sea to export its grain, according to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
The agreement was reached between Dmytro Kuleba and Gordon Grlic Radman, the foreign ministers of Ukraine and Croatia respectively.
"We agreed on the possibility of using Croatian ports on the Danube and the Adriatic Sea to transport Ukrainian grain. Now we will work to build the most efficient routes to these ports and make the most of this opportunity. Every contribution to unblocking exports, every open door is a real, effective contribution to the world's food security. I am grateful to Croatia for its constructive assistance," Kuleba emphasized.
The Croatian foreign minister arrived in Kyiv this morning. According to him, Croatia in partnership with UNICEF-Croatia bought 50 generators for schools and hospitals.
