On the afternoon of 31 July, the Russians shelled the Korabel district in Kherson. A man died from serious injuries as a result of the shelling, the Head of Kherson Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin said on Telegram.
"A 65-year-old man was caught in shelling in his own car. His friend tried to take him to the hospital. However, the injuries turned out to be too severe, so the doctors could do nothing only to state death," he said.
Prokudin added that a 38-year-old resident of Kherson was also wounded. He was taken to the hospital with leg and arm injuries.
Today at around 8:20 a.m., the Russian army hit the centre of Kherson with Grad multiple rocket launchers. As a result of the attack, an employee of the city utility company was killed, and two more of his colleagues were injured. Earlier, the shelling was carried out from barrel artillery.
