Ukraine wants China to participate in the peace formula summit, Minister of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Dmytro Kuleba stated this in an exclusive comment to LB.ua.
He added that Taiwan is not the subject of negotiations with Beijing. "There is an agreement that Ukraine respects China's territorial integrity and vice versa. This is beyond the scope of negotiations. Everything else will be subject to negotiations with China. It will not be easy," he said.
Answer to the question whether Kyiv would like China to be involved in the process of reconstruction of Ukraine, the minister noted that the process of negotiating international efforts on how the long-term reconstruction of Ukraine will take place is now being completed. At the center of this mechanism is the international platform created by the G7, the European Union and the IMF.
"But we will talk about who is ready to join this process on fair terms," said Kuleba.
As reported by American intelligence, China helps Russia evade Western sanctions and [probably] also provides military and dual-purpose technologies for use in the war against Ukraine.
