President Volodymyr Zelenskyy paid a working visit to Zaporizhzhya Region to touch base with the brigades that are conducting offensive operations in the Melitopol sector.
According to the presidential office, Zelenskyy met the commander of the Tavriya Operational and Strategic Group of Forces, Oleksandr Tarnavskyy.
He also visited the locations of the 3rd Operational Brigade named after Col Petro Bolbochan of the National Guard of Ukraine, the 47th Separate Magura Mechanised Brigade, and the 117th Separate Mechanised Brigade, the 15th Operational Brigade named after the Hero of Ukraine Lt Bohdan Zavada of the National Guard of Ukraine, the 65th Separate Mechanised Brigade, the 116th Separate Mechanised Brigade, as well as at the frontline command posts of the 46th Separate Airmobile Brigade of the Air Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 118th Separate Mechanised Brigade.
"The president heard the commanders' reports on the course of hostilities in the frontline areas under their responsibility and discussed the most problematic issues of their units with the brigade and battalion commanders," the presidential office said.
Yesterday Zelenskyy visited the 22nd Separate Mechanised Brigade, which performs combat missions as part of the Adam tactical group of the Soledar operational and tactical group.
