Ukraine will be able to receive 42 aircraft from the Netherlands when Ukrainian pilots undergo relevant training, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a press conference following the Crimea Platform Summit in Kyiv.

"We have agreed with Mark Rutte (Prime Minister of the Netherlands - ed.) that we can count on 42 aircraft. He has no more. We will use 18 of them for training. And when we are trained, we will be able to get these 18. We will be able to get the rest as soon as our pilots are ready," he said.

At the same time, Zelenskyy called this number of aircraft "very serious".

"I'll be honest: when we were preparing all these meetings and talking to our partners, we were counting on at least 12. I'm grateful to everyone. Everyone worked hard. We have great potential," the president said.
