President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced his intention to create a security alliance with the countries of the Black and Baltic Seas.
He said this on Wednesday, 23 August, at a press conference in Kyiv following the Crimea Platform Summit.
"I am holding conversations, and diplomats have been tasked with preparing a security alliance with NATO countries of the Black Sea coast. So that we have a joint defence of the Black Sea and Azov coasts. And even more - the Azov, Black Sea and Baltic space," he said.
