The Ukrainian Defence Forces have advanced by more than a kilometer in the Tavriya direction. The commander of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Group of troops Oleksandr Tarnavskyy reported this on Telegram.
"Artillery units of our army performed 1391 firing missions during the day. Over the past day, enemy losses are 226 people (72 killed, 149 wounded, and five captured).
"We destroyed 27 units of enemy military equipment. Particularly, three tanks, two armored personnel carriers, three artillery systems and mortars, two MLRS, nine UAVs, five vehicles and three units of special equipment were destroyed," he said.
Six enemy ammunition depots were also destroyed.
The Defence Forces continue to advance in the Melitopol direction. The defenders are resisting the occupants and consolidating their positions. Fierce fighting continues for every inch of land.
