The General Staff reported that Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 580 Russian soldiers yesterday, on 10 September. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost 269,210 troops in Ukraine.

Russia's total combat losses from 24.02.22 to 11.09.23 are approximately:

  • personnel - about 269,210 (+580)
  • tanks - 4,560 (+6)
  • armoured combat vehicles - 8,767 (+12)
  • artillery systems - 5,839 (+28)
  • MLRS - 760 (+0)
  • air defence systems - 512 (+3)
  • aircraft - 315 (+0)
  • helicopters - 316 (+0)
  • operational and tactical UAVs - 4,628 (+35)
  • cruise missiles - 1455 (+0)
  • ships / boats - 19 (+0)
  • vehicles and tankers - 8,370 (+32)
  • special equipment - 877 (+5).

Due to the catastrophic losses of the occupiers, it is expected that in the near future, a massive forced mobilisation of the population will begin in the Russian Federation and in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. According to various estimates, the number of people to be mobilised could range from 400,000 to 700,000. It is also planned to conscript about 40,000 residents of the Chechen Republic, who are likely to be used as "barrier units" behind Russian troops. At the same time, among the population of Moscow and St. Petersburg, the figures for the planned mobilisation again remain minimal.
