Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to advance on the southern flank of the Bakhmut sector.
This was reported by Ilya Yevlash, head of the press service of the Eastern Military Group.
"We record a slight decrease in shelling compared to the previous days. Then there were more than 600 attacks in this area. Over the past day, 376 attacks were recorded," said the spokesman.
According to him, Ukrainian troops are making progress in the areas of Klishchiyivka, Andriyivka and Kurdyumivka.
Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 146 occupants and several pieces of enemy equipment in the Bakhmut sector over the last day:
- MSTA-B artillery system
- 2 MT-12 anti-tank guns ("Rapier");
- 8 vehicles;
- several drones.
The defenders also destroyed a drone control center from which enemy kamikaze drones were launched and eliminated 6 ammunition depots.
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine eliminated a Russian field depot near Bakhmut, Donetsk Region.
On 15 September, the Third Separate Assault Brigade reported details of the liberation of Andriyivka, Donetsk Region. As a result of the defenders' lightning-fast operation, the enemy garrison of Andriyivka near Bakhmut was surrounded, cut off from the main forces and destroyed.
