After arriving in the United States, Volodymyr Zelenskyy goes to visit Ukrainian defenders who are undergoing treatment and rehabilitation in America.

"Important and busy days are ahead. The UN General Assembly, the Sustainable Development Goals Summit, the Security Council. Important bilateral meetings have already been scheduled," the statement said.
It is noted that Ukraine will make a clear proposal to return the UN Charter to full force and ability of the UN to stop aggression and prevent it to members of this organisation.
In Washington, Volodymyr Zelenskyy is scheduled to hold talks with the US President, leaders of the chambers and parties of Congress, and military leaders.
The President of Ukraine will also meet with American business, journalists, and the public.
This week President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet with the President of Brazil for the first time in person.
Also on Thursday, 21 September, US President Joe Biden will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
In addition, President Zelenskyy is scheduled to meet with Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu in the coming days. The meeting is likely to take place in New York.
