As a result of a unique operation in the Bakhmut sector, soldiers of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade have captured a Russian major, commander of the Alga volunteer battalion of the 72nd Separate Mechanised Brigade.

"Now he is one of the representatives of the exchange fund among the senior officers of the occupiers," the 3rd Brigade said on Telegram.

It also added that the full video of the fighting would be released later.

The Russian prisoner said that he had joined the army under a contract to pay off his loans. He was promised that he would "draw maps" at the headquarters. However, he ended up at the front. Another Russian captive complained that they were poorly fed in the army, constantly physically abused and beaten by commanders from among the former prisoners.
