The aggravation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will not lead to a decrease in the European Union's assistance for Ukraine in the war unleashed by Russia.
This was stated at a briefing by European Commission spokesperson Eric Mamer, according to Yevropeyska Pravda.
"Nothing will in any way affect the support provided by the EU to Ukraine. There can be no doubt about that," Mamer said, answering the question of how the situation in the Middle East could change the EU's support for Ukraine.
He reminded that in her speech on Saturday, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen reiterated that the EU will be with the Ukrainian people as long as it takes.
