A Ukrainian citizen was killed in the Gaza Strip, according to the head of the Ukrainian Embassy's department for the Palestinian National Authority, Maksym Tyokin, Suspilne reports.
"Overnight, our activists confirmed the death of a Ukrainian citizen in the Gaza Strip. Her personal data have been established," Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel Yevhen Korniychuk confirmed the news.
Earlier, Korniychuk denied that 23 Ukrainians were killed in a Hamas attack. He confirmed the deaths of 18 Ukrainians.
He also said that the number of Ukrainians in need of evacuation from the Gaza Strip has increased to 308. It may increase to 400 in the coming days.
