According to Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavskyy, commander of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops, the Ukrainian military has shot down the fifth enemy Su-25 attack aircraft in 10 days.
"We have shot down the fifth enemy Su-25 attack aircraft in 10 days, again in Donetsk Region. We have a partial success southwest of Verbove in Zaporizhzhya," the statement said.
The general also said that over the past day, the enemy launched two missile and 29 air strikes, conducted 34 combat engagements and fired 930 artillery rounds.
In Tokmak, Zaporizhzhya Region, using civilians as human shields, Russian terrorists are massively settling in high-rise buildings and apartments where the locals live.
Missile and artillery units of the Tauride Defence Forces carried out 1,434 firing missions over the last day.
Total enemy losses amounted to 322 people. 43 units of enemy military equipment were destroyed. In particular, three tanks, three armoured personnel carriers, 12 artillery systems, two MLRS, one aircraft, 13 UAVs, five vehicles and two special vehicles of the occupiers.
