Today, parliament adopted the state budget for 2024 in the first reading, the chairman of the budget committee, Roksolana Pidlasa, has said.
According to MPs, the draft law is to be voted on as a whole by 20 November, taking into account the conclusions and proposals.
According to the draft law, revenues amount to UAH 1.7 billion, expenditures - UAH 3.3 billion, and the maximum deficit is UAH 1.5 billion.
Last week, the budget committee recommended that MPs approve the draft state budget for 2024 in the first reading.
The MPs want to increase the expenditures of the state budget for 2024 by UAH 12.5 trillion, but it is impossible to take into account all the wishes of the MPs, because realistically, internal resources (all possible revenues), domestic government bonds and partner assistance amount to a maximum of UAH 3.96 trillion per year and they have already been allocated by the Ministry of Finance for expenditures in the draft budget.
