The number of Ukrainians who need to be evacuated from the Gaza Strip has risen to 308. It may increase to 400 in the coming days. This was stated by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Yevhen Korniychuk, Ukrinform reports.
"As for the Gaza Strip, the situation, unfortunately, is getting even more complicated. The number of people on our evacuation list has already exceeded 300 - now 308, but it is constantly increasing. I think it may reach 400 within the next day or two. I hope that the evacuation will start," Korniychuk said.
He informed that the first trucks with humanitarian supplies have left through the Rafah crossing to the Gaza Strip.
"I hope that Hamas will fulfil their promise and let the foreigners out," the ambassador added.
As of yesterday, the number of Ukrainians in need of evacuation from the Gaza Strip was 298, including two wounded.
