Last night, the Russian army launched 40 Shahed attack UAVs and one X-59 missile at Ukraine. Air defences shot down 24 drones and a missile.
The enemy launched the UAVs from Kursk Region and the Primorsko-Akhtarsk area. The missile was fired from the airspace of the occupied Kherson Region, the Air Force reported on Telegram.
"Shaheds were launched in waves and travelled in different directions in small groups. Air alert was declared in most regions, air defence was in operation," the statement said.
Fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, and mobile fire groups were involved in repelling the air attack.
The hits to civilian infrastructure were reported in Kharkiv city and Kharkiv district, as well as in Odesa Region. There are no reports of casualties.
