Ukrainian soldiers destroyed a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft in the area of responsibility of the Tavriya Operational Strategic Group of Forces, its commander Oleksandr Tarnavskyy has said.
A total of 40 pieces of military equipment were destroyed. In particular, six tanks, 11 armoured personnel carriers, seven artillery systems, six UAVs, eight vehicles and one piece of special equipment.
Total Russian personnel losses amounted to 360 people. The Russiand carried out 14 air strikes in the Tavriya sector, 30 combat engagements and 959 artillery attacks.
Missile and artillery units of the Tavriya group completed 1,068 fire missions over the course of the day.
