Russians fired two Onyx missiles at Odesa Region, the Defence Forces South reported.
The Russians attacked the region from occupied Crimea. However, the attack failed.
"The missiles launched from the Bastion coastal missile system lost their combat capability on approach to the coast. No damage or casualties were recorded," the military said.
The Russian army recently attacked Odesa Region. The target was a shipyard. The administrative building and equipment of the enterprise were damaged.
Earlier, Russians sent attack drones to Odesa Region. The wreckage of the downed Shahed damaged the port infrastructure.
