President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has replaced the commander of the Special Operations Forces.
"To dismiss Viktor Oleksandrovych Khorenko from the post of Commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," reads Decree No. 727/2023 of 3 November this year.
By another decree, the president appointed Col Serhiy Kostyantynovych Lupanchuk as Commander of the Special Operations Forces.
Khorenko had held the post of commander of the Special Operations Forces since 25 July 2022.
