Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyy posted on Facebook that 16 Russian Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs threatened the region last night.
"According to the military, 16 Shaheds threatened our region last night. Our air defence system downed them within its area of responsibility, it is not only Lviv region," Sadovyy wrote. The mayor assured that Lviv itself was quiet.
Later, the head of the Lviv RMA, Maksym Kozytskyy said that there were hits.
"Unfortunately, there were five hits to a critical infrastructure facility. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries. There was a fire, which was quickly extinguished. I am grateful to our air defence soldiers who worked very professionally in extremely difficult conditions, when the drones flew in several waves and often changed direction. I thank all services for promptly overcoming the consequences of the attack," he wrote on Telegram.
