The head of the Joint Coordination Press Centre of the Southern Ukrainian Defence Forces, Nataliya Humenyuk, asked for "information silence" in order to report on "great successes". She made this statement during a telethon.

"For now, we are asking for information silence so that our planned dictum can work, which will allow us to report on great successes later," she said.

She noted that the Russian occupiers are trying to actively defend themselves because they know that the Ukrainian military is advancing. The enemy cannot calculate from which direction to expect danger, so it is trying to activate heavy artillery, multiple launch rocket systems and tactical aviation.

Humenyuk noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are pushing back the enemy on a line of 3 to 8 kilometres along the Kherson coast, and the front line is "quite mobile".
