The German concern Rheinmetall has said it is going to supply the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a small batch of Caracal air assault vehicles.
"Rheinmetall continues to provide support services to Ukraine in the field of combat vehicles. In total, the company has been commissioned to supply 80 Marder armoured personnel carriers to Ukraine. Most of them have already proved themselves in combat operations," the group said in a statement.
The concern also announced that five Caracal air assault vehicles will be delivered to Ukraine in late 2023 and early 2024.
Rheinmetall has received an order from Ukraine to supply 25 Leopard 1 tanks next year. The company will also supply five BPz 2 evacuation vehicles.
