Another 91 children have been evacuated from frontline settlements in Kherson Region. This was reported by the Kherson RMA and its head Oleksandr Prokudin.
"Another 91 children will live without constant fear. They will not fall asleep in the basement and will not be accompanied with shelling. We managed to evacuate these children from the settlements with the most difficult security situation," the statement said.
It is noted that 38 adults were evacuated along with the children. All of them will go to Yaremche and Korosten. Travel, accommodation and meals are free of charge. People will also receive all state benefits provided for by law.
The evacuation is ongoing. It is compulsory in a number of settlements. Local authorities urge people not to neglect the evacuation. This decision was made jointly with the military and law enforcement.
Today's evacuation is the result of joint efforts by the Kherson RMA, the city's military administration and the Save Ukraine volunteer organisation.
