As a result of a series of successful actions, the Marines have gained a foothold in several footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson Region.

The Russian occupiers suffered significant losses during the fighting. This was reported by the Marine Corps on Facebook.

"During the fighting, the Russian occupiers suffered heavy losses in manpower and equipment. In particular, since the beginning of these activities, the enemy has lost: personnel - 1,216 killed and 2,217 wounded, 24 tanks, 89 artillery systems and mortars, 135 units of various vehicles, 48 armoured combat vehicles, including APCs and armoured personnel carriers, 9 MLRS, 14 watercraft, 15 units of special equipment, 4 command posts, 29 ammunition depots, both field and stationary. In addition, a consolidated electronic warfare unit of the Marines neutralised 135 FPV drones and 5 operational and tactical UAVs," the statement said.

In the morning, the head of the Joint Coordination Press Centre of the Southern Defence Forces, Nataliya Humenyuk, reported some success in her area.

"There are certain successes that have already been reported. And we continue to consolidate them. We are still making progress," she said.

Analysts reported on the consolidation of the Defence Forces in some positions on the left bank of the Kherson Region in late October.
