Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation, together with local police, conducted searches of the Spanish property of Yevhen Borysov, the former head of the Odesa Regional Military Commissariat and Odesa Joint Venture. This was reported by the SBI press service.
"On 13 December 2023, on the basis of a request for international legal assistance sent by the SBI, the National Police of the Kingdom of Spain, with the employees of the SBI Main Investigation Department, conducted searches in a villa and office premises purchased by relatives of the military commissar. During the searches, documents certifying the right of ownership and disposal of the above property by his family members were seized," the SBI reported.
Based on the evidence collected and the SBI's request, the villa and office premises were arrested.
