In the area of Maryinka, the Russians are amassing forces for further assault operations, the commander of the Tavriya operational and strategic group of forces, Oleksandr Tarnavskyy, has said.
Ukrainian soldiers are holding back the Russians in the areas of Novomykhaylivka and Krasnohorivka. They repelled 11 enemy attacks.
The Russians also continue to spread information and provocations about the alleged complete capture of Maryinka. But the defence of the city continues.
On the morning of 13 December, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that in the Maryinka sector, the Defence Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Novomykhaylivka, Donetsk Region, where they repelled 13 attacks.
