On the night of 13 December 2023, the occupiers attacked Ukraine with Shahed drones and missiles from the area of Balaklava (occupied Crimea).
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, 10 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs were destroyed by the Air Force in cooperation with the air defence units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces. Almost all enemy UAVs were shot down in Odesa Region.
The Russians also launched a missile attack on the capital. At exactly 03.00 on 13 December 2023, the occupiers attacked Kyiv.
Ten targets flying towards Kyiv on a ballistic trajectory were shot down by an anti-aircraft missile unit of the Air Force. The type of missiles can only be determined after the relevant services examine the wreckage.
