Russians attack Khmelnytskyy Region with missiles

On 14 December, Russia fired missiles at Khmelnytskyy Region. According to Yuriy Ihnat, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force, the target was Starokostyantyniv.

"The missiles were launched and headed towards Khmelnytskyy Region. At least one missile. I mean in the direction of Starokostyantyniv. The alert was announced at 14:09 approximately, when the signal was heard throughout Ukraine. And in fact, 10 minutes after the air raid was announced, there was an hit in Khmelnytskyy Region," Ihnat said.

The spokesman confirmed that the Russians had struck with a Kinzhal air-to-ground missile. "They launched it at Starokostyantyniv... There is a military facility there, and so on," Ihnat added.

He noted that we are not talking about the consequences of the Kinzhal which was an Kh-47 Kinzhal, and that "let the enemy draw their own conclusions. We will not give information about where they were aiming, whether they hit or missed," the spokesman said.
