Kyivstar has restored mobile internet services in a number of regions. This was reported by the company's press service.
"This hacker attack has turned into a marathon of work for many hours. But our network is recovering from a large-scale cyberattack. And finally, we can say that LTE is working in a number of areas! Yes, the connection is still ongoing. Given the danger, we can't disclose the exact locations yet. But if you see a 4G or LTE icon next to Kyivstar, this is it!", the message says.
The company also reported that over the past day Kyivstar specialists:
- restored the international voice roaming service;
- fixed the problem with call drops;
- restored the Home Internet service by almost 100%;
- stabilised the connection in Kyiv;
It is noted that currently over 95% of mobile base stations in the territory controlled by Ukraine are working.
"Today we continue to gradually restore data services. As required by security," the company said.
