The World Bank allocates an additional $1.34 billion to Ukraine.

According to the Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, the bulk of this funding package - $1.086 billion - is from the Government of Japan. The rest are grants from the US, Switzerland and the Ukraine Recovery, Transition and Reform Fund (URTF).

These funds will be used to pay pensions, teachers' salaries, support IDPs and other priority state budget expenditures.

According to the Prime Minister, financial assistance from international partners enables Ukraine to ensure macro-financial stability and direct all domestic resources to the needs of the army.
