MP Olena Shulyak has been re-elected as the head of the Servant of the People party, the party's press service has said.
According to LB.ua, there were no other candidates willing to lead the party. The congress of the Servant of the People party took place on 14 December. Among others, it discussed the issue of electing the party chairman after Shulyak's two-year term of office expired.
"She was re-elected because there was only one candidate, so the decision is obvious. Everyone who was offered (Ed.: to lead the party) refused at the beginning of the week. I personally did not take part in the discussion. I have other things to do," said one of the members of the Servant of the People party.
