As a result of Russia's most massive attack on Ukrainian territory on 29 December, residential buildings and civilian infrastructure were damaged in 16 regions. Twenty people were killed and nearly 200 others were injured.
According to the National Police, the consequences of the Russian attack are as follows:
In the city of Dnipro, six people were killed and 28 were injured. Among the dead are a child and a policeman.
In Kharkiv Region, three people were killed and 13 civilians were wounded.
In Zaporizhzhya, a multi-storey building, a petrol station and a garage cooperative were damaged. Seven people were killed and 13 injured.
In Odesa Region, two people died and 27 were injured as a result of hits to residential buildings. People may be trapped under the rubble.
In Lviv Region, a multi-apartment building and civilian infrastructure were damaged by rocket attacks. Thirteen residential buildings, buildings of two educational institutions and vehicles were damaged. As a result of Russian shelling, one person was killed and 30 were injured.
In Kyiv, nine people were killed and 30 injured. One person was also injured in Kyiv Region.
In total, 47 private houses, 39 cars, a hospital and a sanatorium, nine apartment buildings, two administrative buildings, outbuildings, a service station, a garage cooperative, a petrol station, a warehouse, a school, a church, a shopping mall, and a maternity hospital were damaged.
Police officers, together with rescuers and the National Guard, are eliminating the consequences of the Russian attack and providing assistance to people.
