One of the Russian missiles fired at Ukraine has gone off course and crashed in a village in the Voronezh region. This was reported by Russian local telegram channels and a video was published. It shows that houses and other buildings have been damaged.

The Russian authorities did not officially report the fall. The channels say that the X-101 missile, which was launched from the Caspian region, fell in the village of Petropavlivka. 

According to local residents, the missile fell at 8:38 a.m. local time. 

Later, the governor of the region Alexander Gusev confirmed the downing of the missile. He called it an "accidental munition drop" and assured that "everything is under control".

"Dear residents of the Voronezh region, today an accidental munition was recorded in the Ostrogog district. There were no casualties, but damage was recorded in seven households. Glazing and roofing and load-bearing structures may have been damaged. The information is being clarified. An operational team is working at the site," he wrote on Telegram
