Sources have provided the National Resistance Centre with documents from the Russian Dubno Machine-Building Plant, which manufactures weapons used for shelling the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine, the National Resistance Centre has said.
"The National Resistance Centre has received proof of the occupiers' intentions to equip Kh-32 cruise missiles with cluster munitions. Concerned people provided the Centre with documents of the Dubno Machine-Building Plant, where the occupiers manufacture missiles for further shelling of the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine," the Centre said.
The document notes that in October 2023, the Russian Defence Ministry tasked engineers to upgrade cruise missiles with a cluster unit.
According to the National Resistance Centre, no cases of Russian use of such missiles have been recorded so far.
"We call on Ukrainians to respond promptly to alerts, as the enemy is disregarding international law and is ready to use more deadly weapons against the civilian population," the National Resistance Centre said.
