The Ministry of Defence is discussing recruitment to the Defence Forces not in general for the Armed Forces, but separately for each type of military. David Arakhamiya, head of the Servant of the People faction in parliament, said this during a panel discussion "2024: Scenarios for the Country" as part of the LB.ua and EFI Group's New Country project.

"This is a model used in the United States. In this case, the branches of the armed forces compete for mobilisation resources and promote their ideology.

As an example, he cited the Third Assault Brigade, which has its own recruitment centre.

"They have their own recruitment business process, they have their own forms to fill out on Work.ua, and then they have recruiters. And the state should achieve at least something similar, because they have one of the best levels," he said, adding that even this brigade has difficulties with mobilisation.
