There are significant damages to the power company networks due to shelling in Kharkiv and Sumy Regions, the press service of Ukrenergo has reported.
In the Kharkiv Region, one of Ukrenergo's facilities and several oblenergo facilities were de-energised due to damage to the equipment of the power distribution company during shelling at night. Over 16,500 consumers were left without power supply. Emergency repair works are underway.
In Sumy Region, more than 40,000 consumers lost power during two massive shelling attacks in the border areas, and the equipment of the regional power company was damaged. In the morning, all consumers were supplied with power via backup power supply schemes.
In total, 358 settlements remain without power in the morning due to the hostilities and other reasons.
Due to bad weather, one settlement in Chernihiv Region is without power in the morning. For technical reasons, there are power outages in Kyiv, Poltava and Sumy Regions.
