The morning conference call featured reports on all areas of government work. The military reported on the situation at the frontline, on each area of intense fighting, intelligence – on current issues, paying special attention to what the enemy is doing, how it is putting pressure on its satellites, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said in his address.
"We had a separate conversation about drones: production issues, supply issues, and the provision of units. It is clear that this is one of the main tasks of the year - to stay ahead of the enemy in terms of the quality of work with drones. The more successful Ukrainian drones are, from FPV to strategic drones, the more lives of our soldiers we will save," the president stressed.
Zelenskyy also held a meeting with Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, a strategic meeting on the entire first half of the year in cooperation with our neighbours in the European Union. They discussed the planned details of intergovernmental cooperation with Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Romania and Bulgaria.
"Today, by the way, there were talks with the Hungarian foreign minister at the level of the head of the Office, Andriy Yermak, and Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba. I think these are the right talks," he noted.
Zelenskyy and Shmyhal discussed work with donors - a meeting of the relevant donor coordination platform in Kyiv, as well as the planned conferences on the reconstruction of Ukraine to be held in February in Japan and in June in Germany.
The president also had a conversation with the prime minister of Greece.
"We discussed with Mr Prime Minister further bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Greece, as well as at the level of the whole of Europe: in the EU institutions, as well as in the Balkan region - we are preparing a new Ukraine-Balkans summit. I also invited Greece to join the organisation of the Global Peace Summit," Zelenskyy concluded.
