President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone conversation with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. He reported this on Telegram.

"I had a phone conversation with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to coordinate joint international efforts. We discussed preparations for the second Ukraine-Balkans summit. I thanked Greece for participating in the 4th meeting of advisers in Davos and invited it to join the organisation of the Global Peace Summit," Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram.

The interlocutors also discussed the course of hostilities. Zelenskyy said that he had conveyed Ukraine's current defence needs, especially air defence and artillery.

"Thank you for Greece's support for our rapprochement with the EU. I stressed the importance of unblocking European aid worth €50 billion in a timely manner. This will be a powerful signal to other international partners," the President of Ukraine added.
