Statistical data on the state of civil service personnel show that more civil servants resigned than came to work during the year. This was reported by the Judicial and Legal Newspaper with reference to the data of the National Agency on Civil Service (NACS).
Thus, in 2023, 40,193 civil servants resigned from civil service positions. Accordingly, 36,187 were appointed to the position.
Compared to 2022, the number of civil servants in Ukraine in 2023 decreased by 5,518 people.
According to the NACS, 39,102 civil service positions are currently vacant in Ukraine (31,096 civil service vacancies in category C, 7,940 vacancies in category B, 66 vacancies in category A).
Currently, 159,904 civil servants are employed (118,954 civil servants of category C, 40,737 of category B, 231 of category A). At the same time, the total number of civil service positions according to the staffing table is 206,151.
