President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has visited the command post of the 14th Separate Mechanised Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great, which is defending Kupyansk, Kharkiv Region, according to the president's website.
Zelenskyy heard a report from the brigade's commander, Lt-Colo Oleksiy Trubnikov, on the operational situation and interaction with neighbouring units of the Defence Forces. He also spoke about the experience of using various types of drones in the area of responsibility and ways of suppressing Russian UAVs using electronic warfare systems.
"I am glad to be here today to see you, to congratulate you, to be grateful on behalf of all Ukrainians, from all of Ukraine, for doing such a great job every day, for defending the state, our families, independence, our sovereignty. I am confident in you. I wish you good health, take care of yourself and your colleagues. This is very important. I wish you all victory," Zelenskyy said.
They also discussed the supply of equipment, ammunition and other needs of the army.
