In Sumy Region, a Russian drone carrying explosives hit a house with five people inside. From 04.00 am, the community was shelled first with drones and then with artillery. This was reported by the Nova Sloboda village council.
"A drone with explosives hit a residential building with five civilians in it. As a result of the hit, the house was destroyed and a fire broke out," the statement said.
The rubble is currently being cleared and search operations are underway.
Updated. The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that a family was killed in a Russian strike.
"It was established that an enemy attack UAV of the Lancent type hit a residential building. The hit killed a family: a mother and two sons, as well as two of their distant relatives: a grandmother and a woman who came from another city," the statement said.

According to the report, at 5 a.m., Russians carried out an air and artillery strike on the Nova Sloboda community of Konotop district. The shelling caused a fire in a residential building. The fire has been localised. The bodies of two people were found.
